Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway line opens

The railway, which has been deemed as “historic" and the “Iron Silk Road," has been opened for service with a ceremony attended by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. The first official train service of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars (BTK) project took place on Monday in Azerbaijan's Baku.
