Libya's coastguard rescued around 400 migrants stranded in several locations off the coast of Libya in the Mediterranean Sea on Monday. Migrants on two boats had been spotted after complications with the engines left them stranded at sea. A third rescue operation was carried out earlier on Monday morning, bringing the total of those rescued to around 400, including women and children.
