Lebanese people took to the street after new coronavirus measures came into effect on January 14. In Tripoli, the city is suffering the highest level of poverty and unemployment in the country. Local reporter Suhayb Cevher said quarantine negatively affected the people of the region relying on daily wages. “In Tripoli, unemployment level is at 69 percent and poverty at 59 percent.
