Children travelling in a migrant caravan are vulnerable and should be protected, Oaxaca's Human Rights Ombudsman, Arturo Peimbert, said on Monday (October 29). At dawn on Monday, the Central American migrants shouldered their bags and started heading north, towards the United States. Their goal for the day was to reach the town of Santiago Niltepec, located in the southern Mexican state of Oaxaca.
