The construction efforts of Çamlıca Mosque, which is the largest one of its kind in the history of the Republic of Turkey, is incessantly continuing. The foundation of the building was laid in August 6, 2013 and thousands of people performed tarawih prayer on the Laylat al-Qadr during the Muslims' holy month Ramadan in 2016, despite the construction works.
