5.1-magnitude quake hits Xichang in southwest China's Sichuan province

A 5.1-magnitude earthquake hit Xichang City in Liangshan Prefecture, southwest China's Sichuan Province at 16:29 Wednesday (Beijing Time), according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC). So far, no casualties have been reported yet. The epicenter, with a depth of 19 km, was monitored at 27.7 degrees north latitude and 102.08 degrees east longitude, the center said in a statement.
