As many as 11 Daesh terrorists were killed in the recent wave of strikes against the Daesh terrorist group in Syria, as part of Operation Euphrates Shield, launched in August 2016, to purge northern Syria of terrorist elements, the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) said. It was further stated that on the 152th day of Operation Euphrates Shield, 165 Daesh terrorist targets were destroyed from air. Turkish authorities use the word "neutralized" in their statements to imply the terrorists in question were either killed, captured or surrounded.
