Pink Mosque symbolizing peace, love amazes onlookers

The Masjid Dimaukom, or Pink Mosque, is a mosque in Datu Saudi Ampatuan, Maguindanao, the Philippines. Datu Saudi Ampatuan Mayor, Samsudin Dimaukom, said he and his wife chose the color because, first, it was her favorite color, and second, because they said that pink symbolizes peace and love. Those who visit the mosque frequently also dress in pink. The Masjid Dimaukom is one of the world's few pink mosques.
