'Karabakh is Azerbaijani territory': Macron on why France refuses to help Armenia

French President Emmanuel Macron on Monday paid a visit to an association that raises fundsfor Armenia. When an Armenian youth asked him, 'What prevents you from intervening in Nagorno-Karabakh?', Macron replied as follows: 'According to the resolution of the United Nations under international law, the Nagorno-Karabakh region belongs to Azerbaijan. We do not have the right to intervene without the request of the sovereign state.'
