Istanbul's historic Galata Tower lit up in blue to mark World Diabetes Day

Istanbul's landmark Galata Tower was illuminated with blue light on Thursday night to raise awareness on World Diabetes Day. According to the latest findings of the International Diabetes Federation (IDF), the number of people between the ages of 20 and 79 with diabetes is expected to reach 700 million by 2045.
