Ireland's Paul Robinson made a quick visit to Antarctica recently, at the request of the organizers of the Antarctic ice marathon race, to attempt a very different record. The elite athlete is no stranger to the mile distance (1.609km), having previously run a 3:51.1 in the 2014 Fifth Avenue Mile race in New York City, and now with his sights set on qualifying for the Tokyo Olympic Games in 2020.
