Five injured during emergency landing in south China

Five passengers were injured when a Chinese jet liner made an emergency landing after it was diverted to an alternate airport due to a mechanical failure, authorities said on Tuesday. Flight JD5759, operated by Capital Airlines, was en route from Beijing to Macao. It was diverted to land in Shenzhen, south China's Guangdong Province, at 11:58 on the 16/34 runway.
