Exhausted kangaroo sneaks into family’s pool to cool down as bushfires rage

A kangaroo has been spotted cooling off in a backyard pool in the bush fire-ravaged region of Australia while elsewhere firefighters have been rescuing koalas from trees threatened by flames. The kangaroo, which was filmed in water up to its chest, flapped its ears and appeared unharmed. According to Nine News, the scene was filmed by Sharon Grady, who lives in the town of Merriwa.
