Driver, avoiding killing two girls, makes truck fishtail
A surveillance camera captures how two girls, who were hit by a truck whose driver slammed on the brakes at the last moment to avoid hitting them, survived with no severe injuries in a city in east China. In Mingguang City at around 7 a.m. on December 23, the two girls were walking to school and waiting to cross a street while standing on the side of the street at an intersection. Suddenly, they started to run backwards and the truck's front appears in view and hits them; however its back fishtailed, pivoting so the swinging weight of the back of the truck took some pressure away from the front hit! The girls were hit and ended up falling on the ground. The driver got out the truck to check on them. One of the lucky girls was able to stand, and suffered no injury; the other only suffered a fractured arm.
