China welcomes Spring Festival with decorative lantern shows

Cities across China turned into fairylands with wonderful decorative lights and lantern shows as they welcome the Spring Festival. In Chongqing in southwest China, lights and lanterns have given a rich traditional Spring Festival atmosphere to the fast-growing municipal city located on Yangtze River. The urban area of Fengdu District has been adorned with numerous of colorful lights, illuminating the city in the evening. In Wansheng economic zone, large electronic lanterns of different new-year themes equipped with advanced photoelectric technology were placed on a river running across the urban area, creating wonderful scenes for visitors.
