Wild Asian elephant takes China-Laos border tour

A wild Asian elephant inhabiting southwest China completed a two-hour border tour before dawn on Saturday. Taking advantage of the dark, it moved out of Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture of Yunnan Province and went for a stroll in neighboring Luang Namtha of Laos and returned home two hours later. Surveillance camera at Chahe border-crossing check point of Xishuangbanna public security frontier detachment captured the elephant's movements.
