Man adopts pet snakes to cure his fear

Ferdi Demir, a 35 year old known as “Song Man”, has had a python and bull snake as pets for five years. The local singer from Samsun, Turkey, is trying to overcome his fear of snakes, known as ophidiophobia. Ferdi also has a gecko lizard named “Paytak.” The python snake is named “Medusa” and the bull snake is named “Akra.”The snakes and lizard are adored by Ferdi's young daughter, who claims that "People should not be afraid of snakes. They are not dangerous. We should love all animals." That's one way to cure a phobia!
