Over 50 Chinese merganser eggs, a critically endangered river duck species, have safely hatched thanks to the efforts of the wildlife protectors at a nature reserve in northeast China's Jilin Province. Footage captured by a camera trained on one nest in the Changbaishan Parks, Lakes and Wetlands National Reserve shows that the chicks popped out of the shell after 35 days of hatching by their mother.
