Clashes intensify in southeastern Turkish town
Thirteen Turkish soldiers have been wounded in Sur town of southeastern Turkish province, Diyarbakır as clashes between the security forces and Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) terrorists intensified. The soldiers were wounded, one seriously, by an improvised explosive device on what is now the 60th day of the sweeping operation. The clashes in the area intensified after a soldier was martyred in the town. Earlier on Saturday, the Turkish military announced that 16 PKK terrorists were killed in southeastern Turkey.<br><br>
