Following the bombing of his house in Aleppo’s Hanano Mesekin district by regime-owned warplanes, Ibrahim, who settled in the tent city of as-Salaam in Azaz, portrays the civil war in Syria in his paintings.

The 30-year-old artist used pencil and paints to put his sentiments and observations on the canvas. His objective was to correctly convey to future generations the Assad regime’s cruelty toward civilians, chemical attacks, and the horrors of the war.
