Baklava makers greet each other at the beginning of the day in the famous Karakoy Gulluoglu, a baklava bakery run by the Gullu family from Gaziantep, in Istanbul, Turkey on January 16, 2019. Baklava is a rich, sweet pastry made of very thin layers of filo and is held together by sugar syrup or honey and filled with various types of nuts, most commonly pistachios.
